Yankees 3 to 2.

New York surrendered all of the runs Cleveland needed in the 7th inning
scoring 3 runners on 2 hits. The key at-bat was by Bob Kennedy who made the

threatened in the 9th but Cleveland was able to put down the rally.

The winning pitcher was Feller(5-7) who allowed 2 runs for the game. Eddie
Lopat(8-6) took the loss. With the win, Cleveland continues their noteworthy
winning streak. Lou Boudreau held court after the contest, 'Everything is
coming up aces right now. It is important for our team to ride this wave as
long as we can. Every win is important.'
