to 3 at Polo Grounds.

Kiner had a big day with his bat. He cracked a two-run shot in the 1st

homer in the 8th inning. Pittsburgh finished with 16 hits in the victory.

Bonham(4-2) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 3 runs. Hank
Behrman(3-2) was tagged with the loss. He pitched 1 and 2/3 innings and
surrendered 5 hits and 3 walks.

'I was in my hotel room the other night, working on my swing and made some
adjustments,' Kiner said. 'I'm always working on it. If they are getting you
out certain ways, you've got to make changes.'
